Administrative Duties

Call for and hold frequent committee meetings.

Keep minutes of meetings and decisions made.

Communicate choices and notifications to the parishioners.

Coordinate with diocese or higher ecclesiastical authorities.

Financial Management

Prepare budget for the entire yearly plan for the community.

Manage income and costs, including offertory collections, gifts, and money.

Maintain transparent accounting records and submit for an audit.

Organize fundraisers or donations for initiatives and social work.

Liturgical and Spiritual Activities

Assist in organizing Holy Mass, feasts, retreats, and special liturgies.

Plan feast days for patron saints and church anniversaries.

Ensure proper arrangements for sacraments (baptism, marriage, communion, etc.)

Coordinate prayer meetings, novenas, rosary prayers, and retreats.

Faith Formation & Education

Managing Sunday school or catechism classes.

Encourage prayer groups, rosary prayers, and other devotions.

Involving people in altar and choir services of the community.

Cultural & Fellowship Activities

Organize cultural events, competitions, and festivals (Onam, Christmas)

Conduct annual day celebration for the community involving all the associations and prayer groups.

Support MCYM and MCMF in their cultural and sport events for the community engagement.

Parishioner Welfare

Visit sick or elderly parishioners to provide assistance and prayer.

Support needy families financially or emotionally (education, health, housing, etc.).

Set up counseling sessions, and family support programs.

Provide job support or connect parishioners with employment.
