Dubai Community
Dubai Malankara Catholic Community is a part of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Dubai. Our community has been active since 1988 and started initially by forming communities and Prayer Groups. In January 2001, under a special arrangement, a priest stationed at Oman made quarterly visits to the Dubai community. Fr. Jerome Peedikaparambil OIC, who was stationed at Doha was appointed as the First Chaplain of the Malankarites in UAE in Feb 2003.
We had Malankara mass celebrated initially once in a month, and today, we have regular mass conducted every Saturday by our resident Vicar. Committees and associations are active today in our community to support all our members.
